This past week was the exclusive Composure Boutique Shopping party! The turnout was great, the food delicious, and the room classy and elegant to say the least. The shopping party was held at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency, a beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown Bellevue. Everyone enjoyed the swag bags made with goodies from Shoetini, Shi Golf, Sorella Salon & Spa, and Inner Vibe. The bags were a great compliment to all the vendors from shoes, to clothes, to lingerie, and even skincare products!
Kelly was dressed to impress as well as myself and all the other women attending the event. It was a spectacular girls night out and the room was filled with happy shoppers and smiling faces. If you didn’t make it to this event be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the announcing of our next shopping party for Composure. I expect them to get better and better as we reach out to more people and make friends with new vendors.
The party also featured the release of new fall items on Composureboutique.com! Be sure to check out the new clothes! Happy Shopping from Team Composure:)

On the list we have a skin care company called Votre Vu, A French-made skincare line that contains the finest natural ingredients available. Each product is hand-crafted by a family of artisans who have been perfecting the art and science of naturally-based skin care formulations for nearly a century.
Another vendor attending the party is Shoetini, a private shoe company carrying various high end designer brands such as Michael Kors, Dolce Gabbana, BCBG, Steve Madden, and Prada.
The decor will be extra special showcasing the work of the designer at M. Glam Designs. With her exquisite couture taste, Muriel will be preparing center pieces and decorations tailor made to fit the event.

Where do fashion designers get their inspiration from one may ask? A curious question that I ponder over as I watch Kelly prepare for her new line. Fashion is always changing. Every season brings new styles and trends that circulate among us. Some fashion designers say they get their inspiration from the street style in places such as London , Tokyo and Paris. The media, magazines, and television are also good spots to draw ideas from. A beautiful view, a plant, or a building can inspire anyone for a moment and turn into a new idea. Some fashion designers say they can get their inspiration anywhere, “anything beautiful, ugly and in between can inspire you,” says one designer about her process.
Designers must draw on many areas for inspiration. The past, present and future all figure into this. A good designer knows how to read clues from the current culture, be able to digest them and produce designs that are fresh and unique. Areas to draw inspiration come from current movies, foreign fashion designers work and new functional interpretations.

Earrings are a nice touch when it comes to jewelry and can make any woman look more attractive. Experts from Millionlooks.com say that certain earring shapes compliment your facial structure while others take away from your beauty.
Round Face If your face is round, choose long and angular curved lines. It will elongate and add a little angle to your face. You can wear drop earrings in dangles, ovals and oblongs. Square and rectangles are also good options, as are angular earrings. Make sure that you avoid small studs, hoops, and chunky large earrings.
Oval Face This is a classic shape that will work with almost any style of earring. You can wear earrings with soft shapes like studs, ovals and teardrops. Spiraled dangly pair will look cute on you. Pearl, diamond, or gemstone studs can compliment this face shape if worn with a shorter hair style. Avoid wearing incredibly long and thin shapes that will just pull you down.
Heart Shaped Face Look for earrings that are wider at the bottom – tear drops, chandeliers, triangle shapes that begin with a point. Even circular and oval earrings will work with your face shape, so long as they don’t taper as they descend. Pyramid style earring will also look pretty. Steer clear of earrings that are heart shaped or very short.
Long or Thin Face You are advised to wear simple studs and chandelier style earrings. Three dimensional earrings will add fullness to your face. To widen this face shape wear circular, triangular (with the point up) and square earrings. Avoid flat or dangling earrings.

Many people will say that accessories make or break your outfit. There are many ways to keep hip in the fashion world without over spending this season. In addition to buying a few must-haves you should learn to keep your jewelry box up to date! Wearing jewelry has been on the rise for the past couple of years, and the plain look is out.
For 2010, the Spring and Summer jewelry trends include big, unusual statement necklaces, muti-strand, layered, long metal chain necklaces and floral motifs. The colors should be versatile to pair with an assortment of clothing. Metal colors, golds, silvers, blacks, and off-whites can be worn over just about any color top. At Composure Boutique we carry an assortment of fashionable accessories to go with your clothing choices. See our recommendations below and to see more shop on our website!

Grey and Silver are sweeping the fashion nation this Spring and Summer! These colors are ultra chic and fashionable and can be worn just as versatile as black. Read what experts from In Style have to say about these colors.
WHY WE LOVE IT
The right shade from this color range instantly separates you from the black pack. Mislabeled a neutral, grey looks softer on the skin than black or navy. Shiny silver, more mellow than the stark chrome that was big on the runways for evening, provides mystery instead of flash.
MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU
Grey’s strength is to highlight line and detail, so choose pieces that emphasize cut, fabrication and craftsmanship. The hue pairs beautifully with red, and at night, silver begs for a dramatically painted face. You’re already pre-lit with shimmer, so take advantage of it.
Try our Wide Stripe Tank Dress with our Percella Pearl Necklace and Earrings for a night out on the town.
You may also like our fun and stylish Bloomer Shorts which can be paired with our Ruffle T-Back Tank to show off your style on a summer day.
